OKLAHOMA CITY– As a part of the re-accreditation process, on April 29 through May 1, members of the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) will be on the Mid-America Christian University campus in Oklahoma City.
During the HLC visit, multiple forum opportunities will be available for MACU employees, HLC committee members and supervisors and members of the community to take part in. MACU invites attendance to and participation in these sessions.
The schedule of events includes:
● From 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, April 30, an open forum will be held on HLC Criteria 1 (Mission), 2 (Integrity, Ethical and Responsible Conduct), and 5 (Resources, Planning, and Institutional Effectiveness) in the JASCO Chapel. This forum is open to community members and MACU employees.
● From 5 to 5:30 p.m. on Monday, April 30, a drop-in session will take place in the Odom Dining Room. Members of the community and MACU faculty and staff members are invited to attend.
● A second drop-in session will take place from 8 to 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, May 1, in the Odom Dining Room. All MACU faculty and staff members, as well as community members, are invited to attend the session.
● From 9 to 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 1, the final open forum on HLC Criteria 3 (Teaching and Learning: Quality, Resources, and Support) and 4 (Teaching and Learning: Evaluation and Improvement) will be held in Clements Dining Room. All community members and MACU employees are invited to attend.
