MACU Announces Third Annual Dream Scholarship Gala with Keynote Speaker Ryan Broyles
February 27th, 2018
OKLAHOMA CITY– Mid-America Christian University is proud to announce its third annual Dream Scholarship Gala to be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 5, at the Petroleum Club in downtown Oklahoma City.
University of Oklahoma All-American and former Detroit Lions wide receiver Ryan Broyles will serve as the keynote speaker for an evening of fine dining, music and inspiration. Several MACU students and alumni will speak on the university’s place in their education and personal growth.
Last year, MACU sold more than 300 tickets to the Dream Scholarship Gala. Those dollars directly impacted MACU students, who major in fields like Psychology, Christian Ministry, Business, Teacher Education, Biology and more.
More than 90 percent of MACU students receive some sort of financial assistance. Because of the support of donors at the Dream Scholarship Gala and throughout the year, the university is able to help many of those students achieve their educational dreams through financial scholarships.
“Thanks to the generosity of our donors, alumni and friends, MACU is able to ensure that our students are not held back by financial constraints, and that our students remain inspired not only to follow their dreams, but God’s vision for their life,” said Rev. Steve Seaton, Vice President for University Advancement.
Tickets for the gala are available for purchase online at dreamgala.macu.edu at the cost of $150 per ticket. One hundred percent of funds raised go toward MACU’s annual fund. All gifts are tax deductible.
In addition to individual tickets for sale, a limited number of sponsorships and corporate tables are available.
