MACU Named Military Friendly School for 2018-2019

OKLAHOMA CITY—Continuing its legacy of commitment to providing veterans and their spouses with an excellent education and high level of student support, Mid-America Christian University earned the designation of a 2018-2019 Military Friendly School.

MACU Student Veteran Advisor and Certifying Official LaHonda Toussaint said the university takes the Military Friendly designation very seriously — and wears it proudly.

“We work quite hard to achieve the high standards set for Military Friendly designation,” Toussaint said. “MACU is 100 percent committed to serving all military branches, past and present, along with their family members.”

To evaluate schools for military friendliness, Victory Media used both public data sources as well as responses from a proprietary survey to gauge student retention, graduation rates, job placement and loan repayment. In addition, student survey data was taken into consideration for the first time.
