MACU Statement on the Closing of St. Gregory's University

OKLAHOMA CITY– Mid-America Christian University is saddened by the recent announcement that St. Gregory’s University in Shawnee, Okla. will suspend operations at the end of the fall semester.

MACU holds great respect for St. Gregory’s and its wonderful team of administrators, professors, coaches and staff members. MACU’s longstanding relationship with the St. Gregory’s family will always be cherished, as well as our friendly competition as members of the NAIA and Sooner Athletic Conferences.

MACU understands that during this difficult time of transition and uncertainty, many students are unsure of where they will continue and complete their educational journey.

MACU welcomes all current St. Gregory’s students to consider transferring to MACU. Our MACU family is eager to work with students to arrange necessary accommodations and transfer their hard-earned college credits from St. Gregory’s University.
